Research Capacity

The Water Research Cluster coordinates water research across the University of Adelaide. The University has a strong and proud research history and culture. It is a part of the Group of Eight leading Universities in Australia and attracts the highest research income per capita in Australia.

The Water Research Cluster has a strong culture of collaboration and support of teams, and has a particular focus on supporting early career researchers. It operates within a University that is large enough to be a dominant force nationally in research across a wide range of discipline strengths, but is small enough to enable all researchers to know and interact with each other across disciplines. The University of Adelaide provides strong support in terms of research management and information technology and funds a Coordinator to assist the Cluster in its activities.
